Sports, Arts & Global Outreach
Basketball
Our basketball program builds more than athletes — it builds leaders. Through drills, scrimmages, and full-court games, young players develop teamwork, discipline, and the confidence to compete and succeed on and off the court.

Soccer
Soccer teaches strategy, coordination, and sportsmanship. Our program runs drills, scrimmages, and community tournaments that bring neighborhoods together and give youth a healthy, competitive outlet.

Track & Field
Speed, strength, and endurance — our track and field program pushes young athletes to discover their personal best. Coaches work one-on-one to develop technique, mental toughness, and a love for the sport.

Performance Arts
Dance, theater, and spoken word give youth a powerful stage to express themselves and tell their stories. Our performance arts program nurtures creativity, builds self-confidence, and culminates in live community showcases.

Fashion Design
An exclusive, intimate program for 10 participants ready to turn their creative vision into wearable art. Students learn design fundamentals, pattern-making, and garment construction — and showcase their original collections at a live fashion show.

Global Outreach
Wherever we travel in the world, we give back. Our Global Outreach program extends Aempowerments' mission beyond NYC — partnering with communities across countries to deliver resources, education, and support to those who need it most.

Food Assistance
No family in New York City should go hungry. We provide regular food distribution, pantry access, and nutrition resources to individuals and families across our community — fighting hunger one meal at a time.

Every young person deserves a guide. Our mentorship program pairs youth and young adults with experienced community leaders, professionals, and coaches who invest their time, wisdom, and networks to help mentees set goals and reach them.

Snack Giveaways
No one should show up hungry. We host regular snack giveaways open to everyone in the community — no paperwork, no barriers. Just free, nourishing snacks distributed with care and respect for every neighbor who walks through our doors.

Free Group Therapy
Healing happens in community. Our free biweekly group therapy sessions provide a safe, confidential space for individuals to process trauma, build resilience, and support one another — led by licensed mental health professionals at no cost.

HIV/AIDS Education & Prevention
